Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) with prior banking experience in SME working capital products. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and nurturing SME clients and setting up high-quality leads for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect SME clients with working capital requirements
- Engage with HNI and Ultra-HNI SME customers via calls, emails, and meetings
- Understand client business needs, financials, and funding requirements
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales/relationship management team
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of SME prospects
- Coordinate with internal sales and credit teams for smooth handovers
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track lead progress
- Stay updated on SME lending products, market trends, and competitor offerings
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in banking/NBFC/fintech, preferably in working capital or SME lending
- Hands-on experience handling HNI / Ultra-HNI SME clients
- Strong understanding of SME financials and lending products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Target-driven mindset with strong follow-up and closure orientation
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and lead qualification
Good to Have
- Prior SDR / Inside Sales / Business Development experience
- Exposure to CRM tools and sales tracking systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or fintech environment
